Painting Trim and Doors

We have been so busy painting trim and doors and finishing up other odds and ins that I have had very little time to take pictures or update this blog. Painting the trim is a much bigger job than I ever realized because I did not know that caulking and filling the nail holes is “the painters job”. I don’t mind doing it, it’s just very time consuming. After four full weekends and some days off, we are almost done painting the trim. Thanks to those who have helped; Mark Auldridge, Tim and Carol Owens, Keith Weller, Paige Owens, and Jake Marquis. Also thanks to those who have helped with child care; Becky Auldridge, Tim and Carol Owens, Paige Owens and Jacob Rockwell.

In other news, the plumbing, electrical and HVAC are all done and are getting their final inspections this week. Hopefully next week we will have our occupancy permit. Then we just have a little more painting and a lot of cleaning to do before we can move in!

Here are a few photos I did think to take. This is how body shop employees paint their doors. I will post more pictures in the future of the finished product. Thanks again for following along.
