The odds are you are here because you have expressed an interest in our progress and we have invited you in to witness it. You may also have found us by accident and that’s fine too. We have created this blog to share our journey with those who care to know about it. We have chosen not to share the story of building our home more publicly on social media sites to avoid the appearance of boasting or pridefulness. We were originally planning on being very private in this process but we have had many inquiries from close friends and family members who are excited for us and want to share in our journey. The Lord has truly blessed us to be in this position. We are also aware that the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Something tragic could happen in the future that could take away all that we have worked hard to achieve. Our happiness can not come from possessions and worldly things, it must come from God. It is our prayer that this house will be a safe and godly refuge for us to raise our young family and that it will be a resource for us in our goal of serving God in everything that we do. “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15 ESV)
